Mumbai, 2 Feb (The Press Watch) – The state-level round of the Avishkar 2019 competition was held between 28 to 31 January at University of Mumbai.
The preliminary round of the competition was conducted through online website. Presentation and Guidance of projects were carried out at district level. Then the projects were nominated at the university level.
The projects were selected from around 960 projects in Maharashtra for inter-state level competition at Mumbai University, which took place on January 28, 2019 at Mumbai University.
In this competition, Kumar Anurag Lambor of our AISSMS Engineering College got the first prize and was selected for the National level Innovation Competition.
Anurag Lambor created a mechanism to close the total railway gates using sensor technology. The students were guided by Dr. Vidya Nitin Patil (AISSMS College of Engineering) for this project.
The winners were greeted by Maloji Raje Chhatrapati, Secretary, AISSMS, other office bearers, executive members, principals and teachers and non-teaching staff.
